Karen was feeling quite shellfish when she reeled in a Black Drum weighing in at a mere 2.5 lbs! She must have had a great time baiting them with Sand Fleas, those little critters must have been feeling quite crabby. Hopefully, Karen didnt get too hooked on the thrill of the catch and remembered to reel in her line at the end of the day!
Shaun from CFOA reeled in a whopper of a Trout on the Lil Red out of Banana River! This feisty fish weighed in at 2.4 pounds and measured a whopping 19 inches. Shaun Nicholson definitely showed off their fishing skills and proved once again why theyre a top angler. Keep up the great work, Shaun!

On July 5th, Michael from CFOA had quite the fish tale to tell from his fishing trip out of Port Canaveral on the Fish Slayer. This daring angler reeled in a whopping 100-pound, 60-inch Tarpon. With skill and finesse, Michael released the beast back into the sea, proving once again that the biggest fish tales often involve a lot of exaggeration – but not this time!
Amy had a reel good time out on Merritt Island with her trusty Fish Finder Rig, but unfortunately only managed to reel in a Black Drum that weighed a whopping 0 pounds and measured 21 inches! Looks like this fish was just playing hard to catch. Maybe next time Amy will have better luck hooking a big one. Happy fishing, Amy!

Chris and Chuck had a hilarious day out on the water snagging a big fat zero on the scale but plenty of laughs. Maybe next time theyll reel in a monster (or at least one worth bragging about)!
Chris and Chuck started the day off strong, reeling in some impressive catches. But it seems their luck took a turn for the worse when they couldnt manage to snag anything bigger than a rubber boot. Despite their best efforts, all they could report was a measly snapper at zero pounds. Looks like the fish were the ones outsmarting these CFOA members today!
