FSFA Fish Report

Amy from Melbourne Beach had quite the catch today, reeling in a Shark with the help of her trusty Shrimp bait. The Shark measured a whopping 15.5 inches, much to the amazement of fellow FSFA member Donna Langston. They decided to release the beast back into the wild, sparing any nearby swimmers from a Jaws-like encounter. Well done, Amy!

Amy from Melbourne beach, FL had a reely great day fishing with Donna Langston. She managed to reel in a pompano measuring a whopping 7 inches using sand fleas as bait. Amy was so proud of her catch that she decided to release the little guy back into the water to swim another day. Maybe next time shell hook a real whopper!

Greg out of Indian River had quite the day on the water yesterday! He managed to reel in a whopping 40-inch Snook using nothing but a SoftPlastic lure. The only challenge he faced was trying to upload the video of his epic catch to the group chat. Looks like Greg will have to resort to emailing it to Eric instead. At least he has proof of his impressive fishing skills!

Looks like David finally caught something other than a seaweed salad! He reeled in a monster Bullhead weighing 2.21 lbs with just a Jig as bait. Maybe he was just luring them in with his irresistible charm. Watch out, folks, David is on a roll and the fish better beware!

David from the FSFA fishing club had a tricky time wrangling a feisty Warmouth named Wilbur out of the water at SJR. This sneaky fish put up a good fight, but David managed to reel him in at 1.25 lbs and 11 inches using a trusty Jig bait. Looks like Wilbur wont be slipping away anytime soon, as David submitted him for the Tackle Class Record. Well done, David!

CFOA Fish Report

Dean and Dan set out on the Gulf of America hoping for a big catch. But all they managed to reel in was a grouper that was a whopping 8.11 pounds but magically measured in at 0 inches. It seems like that fish might have been playing a trick on them! Maybe next time theyll have better luck, or at least a ruler that works properly.
