Jon had the catch of the day out on the water with Chuck and Alex. Reeling in a feisty Snapper, Jon proved that size doesnt matter when it comes to fishing skills. The CFOA fishing club will be talking about this epic catch for days to come. Way to go, Jon!

CFOA Fish Report

On 4/14, Jon from CFOA was reeling in the big ones out of Ponce with the crew on It Matters. They caught a massive 15.4-pound Snapper, making all the other fish jealous. Chuck, Alex, and Sam were there to witness the epic battle of man vs. fish. Lets just say Jon came out victorious and dinner was served for days. Way to show those fish whos boss, Jon!

JT from CFOA fishing club had a hilarious day out on the It Matters boat with Chuck Evans and the crew on 2024-04-14. They reeled in a massive 19.2-pound Snapper (Red/ARS & Mutton) that was a new personal best for JT. Despite the fish putting up a good fight, JT and the gang managed to conquer the seas and have a fantastic time out on the water.

On 04/20/2024, Laurie from CFOA reeled in a snapper (mangrove, yellowtail) on the Seaduction out of Port Canaveral. It weighed in at pounds and 18 inches. Looks like Laurie showed those fish whos boss! Joined on the trip were Chris Pashos and the mysterious silent angler. Hopefully, next time the fish will be more talkative!

Looks like John was showing off his fishing skills again out on the 21F Atlantic Ocean! He reeled in a hefty 5.05 lb Snapper-Red using a Jig as bait. Looks like Pashos, Griggs, and Gorichky might need to step up their game if they want to compete with the fishing master. Keep it up, John! Maybe next time you can even teach those other guys a thing or two about reeling in the big ones.

Rich had quite the catch today out of Puerto Vallarta! He reeled in a hefty African Pompano weighing in at 12 lbs and measuring 20 inches. He was using a Jig as bait and had Deb, Randy, Carter, and First Pacific to thank for their expert fishing skills. Looks like Rich will have some delicious fish tales to share at the next FSFA meeting!
