The fish put up quite the fight, but Karen persevered and emerged victorious. Rumor has it the Pompano FL is still telling fishy tales of the one that got away – but luckily for Karen, this one didnt slip through her fins!
Karen from the Flagler Sports Fishing Club out of Big Als on 2025-08-30 reported catching a 2 lb Flounder using shrimp as bait. James had quite the catch today out on the water! Using Pogey as bait, he reeled in a Bonito that put up quite the fight. He was so proud of his catch that he even gave it a little pep talk before releasing it back into the ocean. Way to go, James!
