John had a laughable day out on the Banana River with Shaun N. They were reeling in the fish left and right, but all they could manage to catch was a Sailcat! Maybe next time theyll have better luck with their trusty Spoon bait. At least they had a good time and some great company out on the water!
John out of Banana River reported to catch a Sailcat using Spoon as bait with Shaun N. on 2025-11-03. The fish was so huge, it nearly capsized their boat! John claims it was the biggest Sailcat hes ever seen, but Shaun just rolled his eyes and said, Sure, John, whatever you say. Looks like Johns fishing tales are getting taller than the fish themselves!
Sam had a whale of a time out on the water with TWinn and . They reeled in a whopping 19.84-pound, 38-inch Snapper (Red/ARS & Mutton) near Ponce at 250 ft deep. The fish put up quite the fight, but Sams fisherman skills prevailed. The CFOA Fishing Club will be talking about this epic catch for years to come!
Laurie really reeled in a big one today out on the Seaduction with Chris and Alex! They landed a whopping 9.93 pound, 34 inch long Dolphin. Looks like Laurie is the master angler of the day! Lets hope they can reel in some more big catches on their next trip out to sea. Good job, team!

Rodney had the catch of the day out on the Black Cloud with Amanda and Darrell by their side. They reeled in a whopping Na pound, 36-inch Redfish that put up quite the fight. Rodneys secret bait must be working wonders because the fish just cant resist. Looks like its time for the rest of the CFOA fishing club to step up their game!

Amanda from CFOA had a hilarious day on the water with Rodney and caught her first redfish, affectionately named Na! The fish was a whopping 40 inches long and Na pounds heavy. The Black Cloud boat definitely lived up to its name with that catch. Amanda even joked that Na put up more of a fight than Rodney did! Fishing sure is full of surprises.
