Carol out of St. Johns had a fantastic day on the water with Steve and caught a monster Shad weighing in at 2.28 lbs and measuring 19 inches. The secret to her success? Using a trusty Jig as bait. Looks like Carol is reeling in the big ones while poor Steve is just left holding the net!

Today, Shaun out of Merritt Island on the boat Lil Red showed off their killer fishing skills, reeling in a 1.3 pound, 13 inch Black Drum. Rumor has it, Dave Braun was so impressed, they couldnt stop talking about it. Looks like Shaun is officially the new big fish in town!

Shaun had quite the catch out on the water with Lil Red! They reeled in a feisty Black Drum, measuring 13 inches and weighing in at a whopping 1.2 pounds. Dave Braun was there to witness the epic battle between man and fish. Looks like Shaun will be telling this tall tale at the CFOA club meetings for years to come!

Karen showed off her skills out on the water today, reeling in a hefty Redfish weighing in at a precise 5.3125 lbs. She swore by her secret weapon, the elusive Sand Flea, as bait. Looks like Karens got the magic touch when it comes to landing the big ones! Watch out, folks, this fishing pro is on a roll!

Andy had a great day on the water with Sam and Alex, reeling in a whopping 0 pound, 18 inch Trout. The fish almost pulled Andy right out of the Johnson kayak, but luckily they held on tight. It was a real team effort to bring in that big catch, with lots of laughs and maybe a few curse words thrown in. Another successful fishing trip with the CFOA crew!
